Ive heard good comments about this place and want to give it a try ! For a spa and the price, i felt it was overpriced. Not enough pools for everyone. Its more of a relaxing place to lay down than a place with pools or sauna. I was very disappointed. There were a few pools open and some of them were very dirty, having leaves and mold. I didnt see any employee doing their job the whole day I was there. I also tried their bistro, which i really appreciated! It was very good! But the wait was long for the food, almost 1 hour. They apologize because there was a big group that ordered before us... but still. Overall, i wouldnt come here if i had the choice.
Very nice location for spa and massage. Very nice floating devices in the middle of the lake. Marshmallow on the fire pit :) 3 big devices that looks like horn, good place to take a nap!
Beautiful location, more so in the summer when you can swim in the lake and take the mattresses out to the middle where its even more peaceful. Views are amazing, the restaurant was delicious. Really very little I can say to fault them and its a spot I always take guests. My only thing is online/website info is not always up to date, weve been caught out when theres been an event and we couldnt stay for longer than an hour and a half. This is quite inconvenient if youve driven from Montreal, and we could have gone earlier if wed known but there was no indication on the website or google that this was taking place therefore I would always recommend calling ahead and finding out if they have any events, after all the place is so gorgeous you want to spend as much time there as possible.
Balnea is one of the best spas Ive ever been to. Super clean, professional staff, always the right temperature for the pools and much more. You have to discover it for yourself. If you want to go for the water circuit and open space during the Summer weekends you have to make sure you get there early. Its first come first serve and the capacity is 200-250 pple at the time.
Truly unique experience. An indoor and out door vertical experience overlooking access to a large lake for lounging.The indoor pools contain a wide variety of hot and cold with a good variety of steam and cedar sauna rooms. Lots of lawn chairs outside with natural pools. There are lounging spaces in the woods secluded away from people. Fire place with marshmallows is a nice touch. The terrace with liquor bar is a bit overpriced but compliments location well. Lots of hot tubs outside near lake as well. Boardwalk on lake has a lot of seating.
